Subscription Import and Connection Guide
Set up your account and plan first, then import the subscription into your client. Once connected, check your IP and try the service you want to use to confirm it works.
Create an Account and Open the User Dashboard
Select “Start Free” below to open the account creation page. VPNLearn lets you create an account with a username and password—no email address required. Choose a username you can save easily and set a unique password for this service. Complete the steps on the page to open the user dashboard. If you’re returned to a login screen, sign in with the details you just saved.
Once you’re in the dashboard, make sure it shows the account you just created before choosing a plan. You’ll use this account to check orders, get your subscription, and submit support tickets. Save your username and password in a trusted password manager. Don’t share screenshots containing your account details in public forums, and don’t use your dashboard login details as client connection settings.
Keep your account and subscription separate: your account lets you access the dashboard, while your subscription provides the server configuration for your client. Creating an account doesn’t connect your client. “Start Free” takes you to the dashboard; plan details, fees, and availability are shown on the plans page and in your account overview. If you already have an account, sign in instead of creating another one just to use a different device.
Choose a Plan and Check Your Order
Open the plans section in the dashboard and choose between a monthly subscription and a data package based on how you plan to use the service. Monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9 / 60GB, ¥18 / 250GB, and ¥28 / 500GB. Data resets monthly on the day you activate the plan, not on the first day of each calendar month. When checking your remaining data, also check the reset date shown in your account.
Data packages suit users who want to manage their usage against a fixed allowance. Prices are ¥158 / 300GB, ¥358 / 1000GB, and ¥658 / 3000GB. Data lasts until used and never expires. Review the plan details in the dashboard before choosing. You don’t need a higher tier just to use unlimited devices: the device limit and your account’s data allowance are separate.
After choosing a plan, check the plan name, amount due, and billing method again on the order page. Follow the on-screen instructions to pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Then return to the dashboard and check the order and plan status; don’t assume activation is complete just because the payment page closed. If the status hasn’t changed yet, refresh the dashboard and check the existing order before creating another one.
If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the dashboard for the exact change. VPNLearn offers a 30-day money-back guarantee; see the refund policy for how to request a refund. Once your overview shows an active plan, continue to the subscription steps below.
Get Your Subscription from the Account Overview
Open the account overview in the user dashboard and check your plan status and remaining data, then find the subscription option. The subscription link isn’t a website to keep open in your browser; it’s an address your client uses to retrieve server configurations. When the server list changes, you can usually refresh the subscription in your client instead of entering servers one by one.
If the dashboard offers an import option for your client, use it. If your system asks whether to open the client, check that it’s the right app before continuing. If you haven’t installed a client yet, get one in the next section and return to the overview. If there’s no matching quick-import option, copy the subscription link and paste it into the subscription URL field in your client.
Copy the entire link without adding notes, spaces, or line breaks. Don’t paste the service homepage URL instead. Save the link in the client, then update or refresh the subscription. Seeing server names usually means the configuration was imported, but it doesn’t prove that you’re connected. Enable the connection and verify access in the final step.
If no subscription is available in your overview, first check that you’re signed in to the account used to pay and that your plan is active. Don’t use someone else’s configuration in place of your own subscription. For account or order issues, continue troubleshooting in the Help Center. For now, follow the regular import steps on this page.
Open the Account OverviewGet a Client and Import Your Subscription
The client reads your subscription and connects you; the dashboard provides your account, plan, and subscription details. Use the client link provided in the dashboard—there’s no need to look for an installer on this page. After signing in, you can download clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux. For iOS, the dashboard checks for an active plan and shows the available download option. You must also be signed in to get your subscription.
The steps below show where to go on each platform. Use a proxy client that supports subscription configurations; don’t enter your dashboard username and password in the system’s manual VPN form. A VPN entry in system settings may be created by the client when it connects—you shouldn’t enter a server address there yourself.
Get a ClientWindows: Add a Subscription in the Configuration Section
Open the client downloads section in the dashboard, get the Windows client, and follow the installation steps. Once it’s open, look for “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or a similar management section. If the dashboard offers an app import option, return to the overview and start the import there. To add it manually, choose the option to add a remote configuration or subscription, then paste the copied link into the URL field.
After saving and updating, select the configuration and check the server list. Don’t just save the link while leaving an empty configuration selected. When you’re ready to connect, enable the system proxy as prompted by the client. If the selected mode needs extra permissions, review the prompt before granting them. You can switch servers in the same client later without reinstalling it.
macOS: Import First, Then Check the Proxy Switch
Get the macOS client from the dashboard, install it, and open the app. Some clients open their settings from a menu bar icon, and closing the main window doesn’t necessarily quit the app. Find the subscription or configuration manager, import your subscription, and update it. Make sure the newly added configuration is selected—not just saved in the list.
If macOS asks for network-related permissions, check that the request comes from the client you just installed, then follow the prompt. The configuration list and connection switch serve different purposes: after the servers appear, enable the proxy or connection switch in the client. If you’re running another proxy tool, pause it first to avoid affecting your test results.
Android: Add a Subscription and Allow the VPN Connection
Sign in to the dashboard to get the Android client, then install and open it. Go to the configuration or subscription section and import through the app, or add a remote subscription and paste the link. Save and update it, wait for the server list to appear, then select the configuration and server you want to use. If the update fails, check that your internet connection is working and that you copied the full link.
When you tap Connect, Android may show a system prompt to set up a VPN connection. Make sure the request came from the client you’re using, then allow it and check the connection status in the app. If the connection works at first but drops in the background, check Android’s battery and background activity restrictions for the app. There’s no need to change every system setting right away. For more help, read the complete Android setup guide.
iOS: Get the Available Download Link from the Dashboard
First, confirm in the dashboard that your plan is active. Then open the client section to access the iOS download option and follow the installation instructions. Your App Store account region may affect whether the page is available. If you see an unavailable message, follow the dashboard guidance or contact the Help Center. Don’t use configuration profiles from unknown sources as an alternative.
Once the client is open, import the subscription link from the dashboard in the subscription, configuration, or remote configuration section. If you use the app import option, make sure the system opens the client you expect, then save the configuration. Update the server list and connect. If iOS asks to add a VPN configuration, check the app name and follow the prompt. Return to the client to check its status, then verify the connection in the next section instead of relying only on the status bar icon.
Linux is also supported, and its download link is in the user dashboard. Client interfaces may vary across operating systems; the essential steps are to import the link, update the configuration, select it, and connect. You don’t need to change protocols or dig into routing rules yet. For more on how streaming region checks work, read the Streaming Guide.
Connect to a Server and Check That It Works
First, make sure your client has your subscription configuration selected. Choose a server and connect. Keep things simple for your first test: use a working internet connection, pause any proxy tools you don’t need, and avoid changing advanced settings repeatedly. See the server list for server types and locations. For now, choose a server in the region you need for your target service.
Open the IP lookup page to see the IP address and location shown for your browser. If your IP changes after connecting and matches the region of your selected server, your browser request is going through that server. A failed lookup doesn’t by itself mean your subscription is invalid. Refresh the page, then check the client connection status and try loading a regular website.
Keep in mind that rule-based mode may route different websites separately, so the lookup page and your target service may not use the same route. Treat the IP lookup as one diagnostic clue, then open the website or app you actually want to use and load a page. AI tools and streaming services may also be affected by your account region, service availability, and payment region. A working network connection doesn’t change your account permissions.
If the client says you’re connected but the target page won’t load, update the subscription, make sure the updated configuration is selected, and try another server in a suitable region. If the server list is empty, go back to the import steps. If your plan isn’t active, check the account overview. If only one service is failing, note the error message and consult the Help Center instead of reinstalling every app.
When you switch devices, use the same account to get your subscription from the dashboard. VPNLearn supports unlimited devices. Install the appropriate client and import the configuration separately on each device. To get help, submit a ticket from the dashboard with your platform, client status, the step where the issue occurred, and the error message. Remember to hide your password and subscription link in screenshots. That way, support can pick up from the specific step instead of starting the whole process over.
Check your remaining data in the dashboard, update server lists in the client, and identify where an issue occurs before troubleshooting. You don’t need to reimport your subscription every time you connect.
